"We were connected to Monica through good friends who made the move to North Carolina from Florida, and had the fortune of meeting her and using her for the purchase of their home. When we expressed interest in also moving to North Carolina from Florida, they promptly encouraged us to call her. Let us tell you, we are so thrilled we did! From our 1st conversation, we knew working with Monica was going to be a fantastic experience. Monica took the time during our 1st discussion to explain to us the differences we would experience in purchasing a home in North Carolina vs Florida. She reassured us that she would help us each step of the way, as we had multiple "to-dos", including listing and selling our home in Florida, finding a suitable home in North Carolina, while still living in Florida, and working towards getting financed for our soon-to-be-found new home. She introduced us to an amazing Keller Williams team in our area, which made things that much simpler, as they were in frequent communication with one another, saving us the time and frustration of trying to relay information back and forth between agents. When it came down to finding a home in North Carolina that would accommodate what we wanted and needed, Monica sprung into action! She really listened to what it was we wanted, and also gave us thoughtful information and advice regarding different areas of town and what each area would look like for our work commutes, our interests, and our lifestyle. She devoted a weekend to us, complete with chauffeuring us from property to property when we decided to make an in-person trip. It was exhausting - and spectacular - and Monica was amazing throughout! Once we made an offer, Monica was available for inspections that we couldn't be present for, and was instrumental in scheduling and communicating with us and the inspectors, as well as researching questions we had, and providing us with thorough answers to every question or concern that came up. Throughout the emotional ups and downs of selling a house, finding rentals, and buying a house (while living in another state), Monica was a steadfast, kind hearted, knowledgeable resource; when she says she's got you, she really does have you, when she says she is going to call, she calls, and she gets the job done, plain and simple. Not to mention, she's an absolute joy to work with - her personality, positivity, honesty, and sense of humor are unmatched. We are so lucky to have been in her extremely capable, competent, professional hands!

"Honesty! In this crazy real estate market, you really need an honest (and very hard-working) agent. Monica Cook was that...ten times over. We had never been to NC. But, we'd done a ton of research and settled on a small town, Waynesville, that would fit our needs. Monica was patient, kind, responsible, and knowledgeable. After making four offers we had kinda "settled" on a cabin. Monica called before the offer was accepted and said, "I'm concerned this is not the right place for you." How many agents would do that? Not many! I can tell you that after being a real estate agent myself for 30-plus years. "My family and I were moving from New Hampshire to North Carolina. We were overwhelmed by the idea and really thought it would never be possible. Even from hundreds of miles away Monica held our hands and kept communication and advocated for us. She video toured houses for us and did everything she could do give us the best information she could. We had a very wide search radius as we weren't 100% sure where we wanted to be. Our lender was not easy to get information from, she stayed persistent. There was one house we wanted to see one more time and have a family member there as well. She went out of her way to get to the house a second time to meet people she had never met and have us on video. She helped us formulate an offer that got us that house. There were many bids on it and it was the very first house we had even put an offer in on. Monica is absolutely amazing and I will reccomend her to any of my family or friends who also plan on moving to this area."

"My Husband and I started looking for property in the western NC area about 4 months ago. We happened to get connected with Lyndon Cook when we called on a property we were interested in. It turns out when it comes to realtors, we hit the jackpot finding Lyndon! He stuck with us through many months of searching, always returning phone calls, and providing information in a timely manner. He never turned down our last minute requests for showings (we live 3 hours away) and went above and beyond what would be expected in a realtors job description.
